A free presentation at Nevada County, CA’s Madelyn Helling library by John Noxon and Deborah Marcus. This multi-media offering focuses on rock art and cultures in southeast Utah. The professionally produced production was funded by the Utah Endowment for the Humanities and the White Mesa Ute Tribe. It was produced by John and Deborah and includes the voice of a Hopi spokesperson.

Mid May 2020        30th Anniversary Celebration

This free event will feature a panel discussion and slide show that focuses on the founding and early history of FSRA. The panel will include Dick Markley, Tahoe National Forest’s Forest Archaeologist when FSRA was founded in 1990; Bill Slater, TNF District Archaeologist who has worked closely with FSRA since its beginning; Stan Padilla, a Native American artist who was an FSRA founder and early board member; and principal founder, Bill Drake, who was FSRA’s first president and who happens to be FSRA’s current president.
